What kind of security does Jake Cruise use?
All online transactions at Jake Cruise are handled with industry-standard 128-bit SSL encryption. When you enter your credit card number into the order form, it is transmitted across the Internet in an encrypted (scrambled) form, and then decoded when it gets to us. It supports industry-standard 128-bit SSL encryption.

"The prevalent opinion...is that online credit card use is actually no riskier for consumers than traditional "low-tech" transactions."  Imagine what can happen to your credit card at a restaurant when you hand it to a waiter.  He or she has plenty of time to copy that information and then use it or sell it.  So online transactions are at times safer than regular daily transactions.



What information does Jake Cruise collect from you?
In order to better provide you with numerous products and services, we collect two types of information about our visitors: Personally Identifiable Information and Non-Personally Identifiable Information. Our primary goal in collecting information from you is to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and eventually a customized experience while using our site.

Non-Personally Identifiable Information
This refers to information that does not by itself identify a specific individual. We gather certain information about you based upon where you shop on our site in several ways. This information is compiled and analyzed on both a personal and an aggregated basis. This information may include the Web site's Uniform Resource Locator ("URL") that you just came from, which URL you next go to, what browser you are using, and your Internet Protocol ("IP") address. A URL is the global address of documents and other resources on the World Wide Web. An IP address is an identifier for a computer or device on a Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol ("TCP/IP") network, such as the World Wide Web. Networks like the web use the TCP/IP protocol to route information based on the IP address of the destination. In other words, an IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer whenever you are surfing the web, allowing web servers to locate and identify your computer. Computers require IP addresses in order for users to communicate on the Internet, browse and shop.

While your shopping...
We collect IP addresses for the purposes of system administration, to gather broad demographic information, to enable ads to be served on our site, to report Non-Personally Identifiable Information to our advertisers, and to monitor the level of activity on our site. We collect information from visitors to our site regarding the URLs they came from, their IP addresses, domain types (e.g., .com or .org), the browser type used to come to the site, the country, state and telephone area code where their servers are located, the pages of our site that visitors viewed during their visit, and any search terms entered on our site.

While your ordering...
When you order from us, we collect personally identifiable information from you. If you order one of our products or services, we will collect and maintain your name, e-mail address, billing address, shipping address, telephone number, product selections, credit card or other payment information, order number, referring URL, IP address. NOTE: CREDIT CARD INFORMATION IS NOT STORED. IT IS ONLY USED AT THE TIME OF ORDERING. We collect this, and other information, as disclosed in this Policy, in order to fill your order, to communicate with you about your order and to send you promotional materials via email. Before confirming your order, you will have the opportunity to review the product order form and make changes and additions to the information it contains and these changes will be automatically kept for future use.

It is important to note that these practices are very common online. Every retail and non-retail website gathers all of this imformation we've listed above.



Sales Tax
We ship from California. All orders delivered to a California address will be charged with an 9.25% sales tax.



Payment Method
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Money Order. We verify all orders. Your credit card address must match the billing address on your order or it will not be shipped until corrected. For "Money Order" customers, we will cancel your order if we do not receive your payment within 2 weeks after your placed order. Mailed in orders must have a completed order form including a signature verifying your age and intention to order adult-oriented material.


Order Confirmation / Order Status
If you provide your email address, you will receive an email confirmation from us. Please print out this confirmation and keep it for your own reference. If you need to check the status of your order, please Email us and use your order number for reference. If you are not sure if we received your order, please mail us and IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU DO NOT RE-SUBMIT YOUR ORDER.

Order Processing:
Our cut-off time is 2:00pm PT. Every order made after 3pm will be processed on the next day. We do not ship on weekends or holidays. Please allow 24 hours for processing your order. All shipping times and dates are subject to change without notice.



Billing
Your credit card billing statement will be from J Cruise Media...not JakeCruise.com or SG4GE.com.



Shipping
Your order will arrive in a standard envelope or box, with only the video order and receipt (maybe one of our postcards). You will never receive any unsolicited material from other vendors. The return address label is from "J Cruise Media" at our North Hollywood address.


We can NOT ship any of our products to third parties due to age verification requirements. This means you may not order for a friend and have the package shipped to them. You may have a shipping address different from your billing address, as long as the recipient is the same.

No shipping on weekends or U. S. Federal Holidays.

If you live in Kentucky, Oklahoma, Tennessee or Utah, we cannot accept your order due to State or local county law.


Shipping and Handling Charges

The shipping charges will be calculated and displayed for you after you type in your shipping information.

Shipping Methods
Jake Cruise ships all products by United States Postal Service (USPS).  Shipping is dependent on where you are located and what level of service you select, and the weight of the product you order. Jake Cruise offers USPS 1st Class (3 - 6 days), Priority Mail (2-4 days), USPS Express Mail (1-2 days), USPS Global Priority Mail (7-10 days), and USPS Global Express Mail (2-5 days). We calculate shipping charges based on USPS terminal rates and a low handling fee. Just for your assurance before you fill out the customer information and payment information the shipping charge will appear on the page. You will know the exact amount of shipping cost for your purchase before you actually need to submit your payment information. There will be no "Hidden" charges.

Depending on the size of your order, you may not qualify for the less expensive shipping.  Choosing 1st class when buying more than 2 or 3 DVDs (depending on whether they are single scene or multi scene DVDs) would cost the same as Priority Mail, so 1st class is not offered.  If your order is significantly large we may require that it be sent Express Mail to ensure a signature upon delivery.


International Shipping

SHIPPING CALCULATIONS FOR INTERNATIONAL ORDERS are based on the total weight of the order. **VERY IMPORTANT** International customers please check with your country for restrictions, duties, and taxes collected from your country. THERE WILL BE NO REFUND ON SHIPPING COSTS IF YOUR PRODUCT IS REJECTED AND RETURNED BY CUSTOMS OR DELIVERY FAILURE ATTEMPT.

Please keep in mind, that we will make every effort to get your order out to you as soon as we possibly can. Express by USPS DOES NOT mean that we will be able to get the order on its way the next day. Credit card processing time must still be done for all orders (including Express). By choosing Express delivery, you are speeding up the shipping time, not the time it takes to process your order. We work very hard and diligently to process and ship orders in a timely manner. Orders usually go out within 1 or 2 days.



Returns
NO ORDER CANCELLATIONS AFTER SHIPPING
Your order is sent directly to the shipping department for processing.
Be sure that your order is correct before hitting the SUBMIT ORDER button.  We cannot cancel your order if it has already been shipped to you.

ALL CONFIRMED ORDERS WILL BE SHIPPED.
If you receive a defective video directly from us, send it back within 30 days of purchase via U.S. Mail and we will replace the video title for title. Please include a copy of the sales receipt, or the confirmation email you received after placing your order. NO exchanges or refunds on videos that are not defective. ALL SALES ARE FINAL.



Fulfillment
The information collected by Jake Cruise is used only for the limited purposes of processing orders, keeping you informed about your order status, for statistical purposes, for improving our site and its performance, and to notify you of products or special offers that may be of interest to you. We will disclose your Personally Identifiable Information to third parties to charge your credit card, fill your order, deliver your order, and provide customer service. For example, we must release your credit card information to the card-issuing bank to confirm payment; and release your address and telephone information to the order fulfillment center to deliver products that you ordered. 

We will never sell, lease, distribute or give away your information to any other party for the purposes of their advertising to you or contacting you for any other reason.



Personal Information disclosure to other parties
We may release account information when we believe that such release is reasonably necessary to enforce or apply our Terms and Conditions or to protect the rights, property, and safety of Jake Cruise, our users, or others. If customers do not pay us for products ordered, we may submit their account information to a third party collection agency.

Except as otherwise stated in this Policy, at present Jake Cruise DOES NOT DISCLOSE its customers' Personally Identifiable Information to other merchants.


Compliance with Service of Process or Law Enforcement
Jake Cruise fully cooperates with law enforcement agencies in identifying those who use our services or products for illegal activities. Jake Cruise may be required by law enforcement or judicial authorities to provide Personally Identifiable Information to the appropriate governmental authorities.
We will disclose Personally Identifiable Information upon receipt of a court order, subpoena, or to cooperate with a law enforcement investigation. We reserve the right to report to law enforcement agencies any activities that we in good faith believe to be unlawful. All models depicted in this web site, and the videos for sale through this web site, were eighteen (18) years of age or older when filmed. The records required by Title 18 USC 2257 with respect to all of the graphical material found on Jake Cruise are kept by R. Alonso, the Custodian of Records, at 9501 Clybourn Ave, Sun Valley, CA 91352. Jake Cruise Media holds on file each model release and copied photo ID for every model found on our site and for the videos we sell.
